Ue4.14.1 apply compression doesn´t work

Hi, I´m on latest public release of UE ver. 4.14.1
when I import an animation everything works fine, but then
the editor tells me to click Apply(apply additive layer tracks to Runtime animation data),
I do it but nothing happens because the button remains active.
When I close the project and I reopen then it just crash because something did not
complete in the right way when I clicked the apply button.
If I delete the imported animations then everything works again.
This obviously didn´t happen with previous versions of UE and I did the mistake
to save my project in 4.14 and now my maps don´t load anymore on previous versions…
This happens only with new animations, old previously imported animations work as intended.
I hope this can be resolved…thank you!

…is there anyone which is able to import animations in ue4.14.1 without having
it asking for “Apply compression”? is it possible to disable animation compression
to prevent this behaviour?(it asks me to apply also if I use retarget, import or create new animation,
this happens with 4.13 aswell(edit: it does NOT happen on 4.13) but not on 4.12, if I migrate the animations from 4.12 to 4.14 when I open the project and open the animation ue just crash…I really hope a new fix comes out soon
because at the moment ue4.14.1 doesn’t work at all as I read from other posts also)
Any help is really appreciated…
