Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Player controller not accepting mousewheel input.

Is there anything special I need to do before mouse wheel up and mouse wheel down works? I simply try to print a string to my screen but nothing happens.

Hey Dyronix,

There isn't anything special you need to do to make these nodes work, but you do need to make sure they're in a Blueprint that can receive input. If you put these same nodes in your level blueprint, do they work?

Yes, it works when I put it inside the level blueprint. But isn't there anyway to receive the input of the mouse wheel inside your player controller blueprint. I already tried Is Input Key Down but it still does not work. I'm trying to rotate my camera around my character.

Kind regards.

That should work in the controller by default. What type of project is this? Is this a custom created controller or a pre-existing controller? Do any other inputs work in the controller? If you check in the controller's BP Defaults > Input, is Block Input ticked?

Hey Dyronix,

We haven't heard back from you in a while, so I am marking this post resolved for tracking purposes. If you are still having trouble with mouse wheel input in your project, please provide the information requested above and we will continue to assist. Thanks!
