The hit areas (capsules) are different between male and female (which matters if it’s a competetive multi-player game) and the head capsule is weirdly askew on the male character.
I’d rather have the Max or FBX files and prep them myself than get “prepped” characters that don’t actually work.
On the one hand, $30 is not a lot for a full character. On the other hand, this is supposed to be shared by a lot of people (whose characters will all look the same) – paying a higher rate to a professional outsourcer would then net me a custom character, and I’d have the ability to say “not good enough” if it has prep problems.
It would also be nice to get first-person arm meshes for these characters, but as there were none in the screen shots, I didn’t expect to get any.
