Is it possible to assign APEX cloth weight to vertices via component editor?

Just curious and if it isn’t, could I request that for a future update/patch?

It would be very helpful to have a tab in the component editor window where - just like painting smooth skin weights I can manually input a number for the vertices. The paint brush is great for quick values and large areas, but if lots of verts and edges are in a compact or hard to reach area, having the ability to quickly select vertices and assign them a specific cloth number would be spectacular.

It’s a good point and would definitely be helpful. I think the best place to give feedback would be the Nvidia developer forums. I’ve been having a lot of issues with the Maya Apex plugin lately so maybe they could get this in a future version.
