How do I export lightmap textures out of editor?

Hi,
Myself and my team have been looking into painterly styled texturing however we would like to export the lightmaps created through lightmass, add a more painterly style to them then import them back in so that they are more consistent.

I was under the impression that this was possible in UDK as I believe this was a process epic used on Infinity Blade for painting additional grime details.

I have yet to find the location of these textures so I’m wondering if they exposed in the editor or not?

I am looking into whether this exporting is possible but I can point you to where they are located in the engine. After you build lighting, go to World Settings>> Lightmass >> Lightmass Settings >> Drop Down for additional options >> Lightmaps. You can open and view all of these textures and add composite textures with them, but currently there is no export option.

Exporting Lightmap Textures is not possible.

maybe one could laboriously screenshot the editor window… hmm be cool for an export option, then one could reimport after a editing if required.
