Problem with Groom when installing via BP

Good afternoon everyone! Faced a little problem with installing hair via Blueprint. The problem is as follows. When the character moves, the head sometimes shines through. Here’s an example like this.

I set the hair via Blueprint like this:

But if you set the hair manually, this problem does not appear.

Please tell me how to fix it or what am I doing wrong?

I would say the groom is simulating physics and you do not have a physics asset setted up or the physics asset does not cover the head correctly


If thats the case you can just set the Physics Asset also

or

You can re-work your character’s Head Physics Body with some sphere primitives to cover the head correctly

or

You can disable physics on the hair

Adding a physical asset didn’t help. The problem remained. But I solved the problem differently. If you initially set the hair manually and then change the hairstyle from Blueprint, then there is no problem.

Having some related issue where long hair clips through metahuman mesh while animated… any chance you could share a screen shot of your fix?
