REproduction is simple. Open Landscape Map and try to build it. I think it’s somewhat related to map size, as default Example map can be build without problem. While maps containing landscape and fair amount of assets crash.

edit:
There is no dump files, nor indication in editor that this happen. When running without debugger, UE4-Editor process just hangs out (Not Responding), and can only be killed trough Task Manager.

GTX 780
With newest stable drivers.

I have not been able to reproduce this on my end. Does this occur for you in a clean project with no additional content?

It still crashes, but I’ve noticed this in Swarm log:

Just to be certain, can you check to make sure that the swarmagent is listed as an exception to your firewall?

Yes, it’s listed as excpetion.

What steps are you taking that reproduce this specific crash?

To be exact:

  1. I created new blueprint project.

  2. Copied all assets from Landscape demo, to new project.

  3. Opened Map, and clicked build.

Try going into a new project, then simply creating a blank landscape from the landscape mode (located in the top left of the editor). Then build lighting and let me know if that works.

Yes. Exactly the same thing happened. After just adding single landscape it crashed.

Are you using B.E or the 4.5 preview through the launcher?

Just wanted to tell, that problem with release version of 4.5 is gone. It seems that whatever caused it has been fixed.

I’m getting the same problem. I just go to landscape click full size and create and I get asked to rebuild lighting without any assets added and it gets the (Not Responding) in the task manager also. I thought It was my computer so I did the same in 4.4.3 and it worked fine. the 4.5 version I am using is the one downloaded through the launcher.

Do you have crashlogs that I can take a look at? These can be found in the filepath \Unreal Projects\PROJECT NAME\saved\logs\. Additionally can you post your dxdiag?
