Content Browser tree collapsing

This isn’t super critical, but during my regular workflow, I ran across this.

In UE3, within the content browser, you used to be able to hold the Shift key when collapsing an item in the asset tree, which would collapse all nested items, or expand them. This was super useful when you have an asset tree like “Engine” and a bunch of nested items are expanded all over the place, instead of having to click on 20 arrows to make things tidy, you could hold Shift and click on the parent item, in this case “Engine”, and quickly collapse everything. I used to use this all the time in production, was super useful.

I noticed you can’t do this anymore in UE4. It’s not a showstopper, and I know you guys have bigger fish to fry, but it would be nice to have this behavior back. Thanks!

Hi Leonard,

Thanks for the suggestion, this would be a convenient functionality to have restored in UE4. I have reported the request.

Cheers!
