Has anybody done Architectural visualisation with UE4

Im trying to accomplish an archviz with unreal Engine4.
Has anybody done an archViz with ue4? Is Ue Suited for that? And how big are your published files? Is anybody getting under 100 mbs ? Because too large files are a kill for architects…and they wont use it.

So I want to know whats the possible min file size for the fps template ???

Nobody made arch viz with ue4 ??? It seems that ue4 is way too heavy for this kind of simple game…

Can me anybody give an advice??? It s maybe not clever doing this with ue4 has anybody a tip for other software, for Architecture visualisation???

It depends on how much time you are willing to invest in learning how to use it and on what level of quality you are trying to achieve.
The more time you invest the better looking the results will be. The engine is already being used as an architectural visualisation tool, and you can check out the results on the marketplace, the “Lightroom” sample, and on the forum , on the archviz thread.

As for the size, it is definitely more than 100mb. From my experience, a typical archviz project is usually about 2.5 - 3 GB. Again, it depends on the project.

Adding to TutorG’s post, there have been many ArchViz projects created with UE4.

There has been more development with this subject on the forums. We’ve recently added a Arch Viz section to the forums as well. When you open this thread there is a section at the top with the most popular projects users have created related to ArchViz.

There are also two projects that are free on the Marketplace that are good examples as well. There is the one that Epic has put together (The Realistic Rendering apartment scene) and one of our user, Koola, put together a free Lighting ArchViz rendering as well.

I hope this helps!
