Odd lighting

For some reason when I was messing with lighting on a level, half the level would be lit even though there were no lights, and the other half would act as you would expect. I tried rebuilding lighting and everything I could think of, but for some reason I can’t get the lighting consistent. At the moment, the only think producing light is a single direction light, but even when I set it’s visibility to false, half the map is still lit. The first picture is with the directional light with an intensity of 5 (you can see the discrepancy between the two halves). The next two are with the only light’s visibility turned off, but even without any lights on, some of the map is still lit.

Open your world settings and under Lightmass>Environment Color, set the colour to black.
Hopefully this will solve your problem.
Best wishes,
Matt

As for the completely black area after building lighting, that could be down to your lightmap uv’s. Make sure that you have good lightmap uv’s in your 2nd uv channel.

That seems to have fixed it! Thanks!

No worries, Glad that it worked for you.
