I set up a little project, where a character moves arround, following some waypoints. All done with blueprints, without using Behaviour Trees. When I run my project in the Editor, everything works fine. Yesterday, for fun, I deployed my Game to my Android Phone. On my Phone, the characters wont move. How can this be? Is there a way to debug my App running on my device to find out why that is?
Thank you for reporting this issue. I have tested this issue and have had no errors so far with any navigation. Would you be able to share the blueprint of the AI so that i may be able to look into the issue? Could you also share your DXdiag and your project log files? What device are you using to deploy to and what OS is that device on? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
I am deploying on my HTC One M7 with Android Version 4.4.2. Characters are not moving (only on the phone, works in editor) And the grass texture that came with starter content is rendered as black only. Btw, do you know how i can check if my pawn can reach a certain point using navigation system? Thanks for your help!
I have attempted to setup the AI navigation and have been unsuccessful so far. Would you be able to share your project here so that i may get an exact repro? You can send it to me through the forums here if you want feel you would like to keep your project private: https://forums.unrealengine.com/member.php?4890-Sean-Gribbin.
I will have a look at this later, but I fear the project is quite sizy (about 3 gig). Is there a way to only share certain parts of a project, without all the assets.
You can send me certain assets by opening your content folder within the project via Windows explorer. Or you could set up a basic project where a similar issue may be occurring.
We have not heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as Resolved for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing the issue you reported, please respond to this message with additional information and we will offer further assistance.
Hey Sean, sorry about that. I couldnt really find a way to send you the project and since I have been playing arround with another project for a bit, I have somewhat abandoned that particular problematic project for now, since I didnt really find a satisfying way to debug it. If I get back onto it, I will let you know. Thanks for your help anyways
