Part of my map is very dark. How do get the dark part lighter?

Hi
The back side of buildings and mountains get very dark when I use sun light in my maps. Is there another way than placing out a ton of point lighta the get those areas lighter?

Place a skylight in your map and set it to movable if you are using dynamic lighting.
