Rotation is different when importing a model

Hi.

When i import my chacter model to UE4 project it rotation for some reason is like this.
So i tried importing the model into another project and then it works as it should link text.

I know Maya allows you to switch between a Y is up or Z is up in the scene

I’m wondering if you need to alter this, maybe the other project uses the opposite to unreal and that is why it works fine?

Is it possible to change that in unreal? It works with my other projects so its not the model there is something wrong with.

Unfortunately, you cannot alter the axis directions in Unreal. There are some things that are done to provide for proper importing. More information on this other thread
