4.4.3 Crash when attempting to make new Blueprint

In my project I am attempting to create a new blueprint. I create a new folder under my “Blueprints” directory named “Debugging” and then click “New” again to make a new “Blueprint”

As soon as dialog opens to allow me to select base class for new blueprint, I see entry for “Actor” but nothing else and then Unreal crashes.

I have included a stacktrace. This is obviously a blocker for me right now.

I was able to make a class on my Mac and bring it over through perforce. Now when attempting to create a variable inside of a blueprint based on one of my existing blueprints; I do not see any of object types I’ve created in my project. This is disconcerting.

Hey ,

Is this issue occurring on both your PC and your Mac? Does issue occur with every new Blueprint you create?

Please attach logs and dump files for project after this crash. Thanks!

It’s only happening on Windows box. Mac seems fine but that’s not my primary workstation.

That’s interesting. Can you attach your dxdiag? Is anyone else on your team experiencing this?

It looks like I’m stuck in a cascade of failures again. Now when we attempt to build our project o iOS it won’t switch to landscape mode. I’m going to migrate to 4.5p today and see if these problems persist.

Still happening in 4.5

Deleting intermediate and saved folders from project directory restores ability to create blueprints. You guys should just add a button to file menu. Go ahead and close this case.
