Periodic (each second) FPS drop when OVRService is running

Even in non VR/Stereo games I get a consistent ½second FPS drop every second
I’m running standalone game with editor closed
I have a post in the forum with some screenshots of the STAT detaild
post
Im on 4.4.3 and OVR firmware 2.12
its both in blueprint and c++

If I start up the standalone game with the OVRServer_x64 running I’ll get the bad FTP drop consistently every second.
If I then unplug the IR camera and the DK2 and kill OVRServer_x64 and the service it dont help /the problem is still there.
But if I then close the game and restarts it runs just fine.

Upgrade graphics card drive to the new AMD 16.9.1.beta, but it dint help

Its only a problem if the Oculus Rift Display Mode is set to “Direct HMD Access from Apps”. If it is set to “Extend Desktop to the HMD” there is no problem and the FPS is maxed out.

I still got no clue why I get ½ a second of low FPS every second, in the standalone first person shooter template when I’m running standard non VR, just becource the DK2 is pluged in

This fixed the problem for me although I hope the problem gets sorted out so I can use D2R again. Thank you!

the Oculus 0.4.3 update fixed this issue for me
