Change parameters for muliple meshes at once

Hi,

Is it possible to change parameters for muliple meshes at once? Like “Override Light Map Res” or Light Map channel. Otherwise it’s just too tedious to change it one at a time.

Thanks.

This is possible. There will be some assets that you cannot change all at once if you have things selected though.

There are a couple of ways to go about this.

1 - You can open each mesh from the content browser and set the settings there that will carry over to each instance of that mesh in your scene.

2 - You can select multiple objects in your scene and as long as they share the same parameters you can change these via the Details Panel. For example, the LM resolution can be overridden here for all selected meshes.

I hope this helps! :slight_smile:

Hi, Tim.

Thank you for your response but nope that won’t help =)

  1. I ment no instances, just multiple static meshes. And lightmap resolution was just an example, there’s a lot of other values in static mesh editor which would be great to be able to edit simultaneously;

  2. I was talking about pixel density which you can check in the Lightmap Density viewport mode. Same resolution doesn’t mean same pixel density.

Cheers.
