Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Why is my project bright & over exposed?

I was working on a level, closed rocket and opened it again and now all of my levels are overly bright, including a brand new level, and levels I had created before. I have had a quick look for what could be causing the issue but I'm not sure what would be affecting a whole project?

I have this kind of an issue sometimes and i fix it by switching to wireframe mode > top view > unlit mode > back to perspective > lit mode. Don't know what causes it and it happens randomly.

Try doing the following:

go to your project directory

delete the entire folder called "saved/config"

please note this is in SAVED

not the config that is in your main directory and contains defaultengine etc

this will undo any of your editor user settings, like custom window positionings and filters for different types in content browser

I'm surmising there are config settings for default post process settings that got tweaked somehow and you can reset them by doing this.
