Whats wrong with my water material(with screenshot)

When I put a water material on this, it comes out very strange. Im using the M_water_Lake material Unreal gives you, but no matter what object I place it on, it always comes out the same.

Is that mesh properly UV mapped? If it is, have you tried changing the tiling of the textures in the material?

From your picture above, Jacky is correct. You will need to adjust your mesh unwrap or the material’s UV Tex Coordinate tiling settings.

Thanks, but when I try that, theres no changes. Is there something I need to do for the tiling to update?

Did you click the Apply button after setting the tiling?

For some reason it still wont work when I hit Apply or Save, but I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was scaling the object within the world rather than doing it within its details, now the it wont stretch any more. Thank you both for your help though.
