stop Mesh LOD from decreasing?

So I have a SM and from up close I have the desired effect:

but from far away it does this and looks horrible:

In fairness I have no idea how to make a material that can have a transparent, emissive mask and contain metallic, roughness and specular colours at the same time…

So there might be 2 or 3 transparent meshes stacked on-top of each other with a bit of rotation to get the glowing effect

Any help on how to fix this would be incredibly appreciated!

You can set a mesh to only use a certain LOD by going into the details panel under RENDERING >> Advanced Roll Down >> LOD >> Change the Forced Lod Model = 1. I am not sure how you have your material setup, but you may need to adjust some settings in there,if you are referencing anything with position based assignment.
