(Academic License) Can't download the engine

When I open the launcher, go to library and add an engine, it says “subscribe” instead of download, and the button sends me to the page. I have UE4 for academic use

Hi samugabb,

Did you redeem your code on the redeem code link on the main page of the unreal engine login site? You can do so here: https://www.unrealengine.com/code-redemption. If you already have, the editor should still allow you access to the latest version of the engine. Try these steps:

  1. Open the UE4 launcher
  2. At the top of the launcher, choose “engines”.
  3. From the drop down menu, choose the latest version and install.
  4. Log in using your EDU account information

This should allow you access to the editor despite the subscription message.

I did as you told me but I still have a “subscribe” button instead of a “download” one. This is the page I get when I press the subscribe button: as you can see I’m logged in (logout option in the top menu bar) but it still requires me to enter information. Maybe the code wasn’t succesfuly redeemed on my account? Under the Information menu on my account panel there’s no sign of the free activation of 1 year subscription

ok now it seems like I have solved the problem. I just redeemed another code from the list of my classroom, as the code I redeemed previously apparently didn’t work. But now we have one less code and we needed them all. Will make my instructor send you an email ASAP.
