[Crash] Crash on launching project in Editor, crash on load

I reverted code to point it was working, same issue. Last in the Editor I was editing Anim Montages and getting a root motion to work.

It crashes just after the Rocket logo displays. It is the same if I double click my project file, or open project. It is only the project that crashes. I can run Rocket by itself, or open other projects like ShooterGame

I narrowed it down. It is the AnimBlueprint that crashes the editor. Either dragging it to a character blueprint, or double clicking to open it causes the crash.

Reverting to previous AnimBlueprint resolved the crash.

I love Perforce.

The only work around I know of is to delete the offending asset from your hard drive, browsing to content folder

Though you may want to attach it to your thread for Epic to analyze.

Thanks for your report. Could you send us the AnimBlueprint and the associated Skeleton and SkeletalMesh so we can look into this? You can set a response to viewable by Moderators if you’d prefer to keep the assets private.

Yes I can this evening. The Rocket game is my after day job project so I don’t have the resources here.

I uploaded CatSniper_AnimBP_Crash.zip to the Rocket ftp. I wasn’t sure if you needed the whole thing.

CatPawn.uasset will crash, but I think it’s because of the ANimBlueprint.
Ornj.uasset is the same as CatPawn but without everything attached yet, it is fine until assigning the AnimBlueprint crahses the Editor.
Double clicking BetaAnimBlueprint.uasset or BetaAnimBlueprint will crash the Editor
BetaCat is the skeleton and is fine.

I was in the middle of experimenting with root motion when this happened, so the movement really sucks right now. link text
