Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Navigation bug causes crash on sloped bsp?

Hi all, I've got a crash whenever I move my aicharacter down a sloped path, where the slopes merges back to a flat surface. I've attached a picture. When the aicharacter reaches the circled spot, where the nav mesh changes shape, the whole editor crashes. I believe it's a bug with the navigation system, though I know next to nothing about navigation besides how to generate it and add a volume for it. Everything works fine when I use stair bsp's and such, but just at this spot it crashes. Maybe it has to do with the way the nav mesh wants to smooth out the angled shape?

Hey ridley075,

I tried reproducing this issue in 4.5 but didn't have any trouble. Which version of the engine are you using? Please zip and attach the crash log and dump file for your project after this crash. Thanks!
