[Minor bug] Selection box selects objects in hidden layers

If you have a level with several layers, and drag a selection box on an ortographic viewport, it will select objects in hidden layers if said layers were hidden using the viewport’s option (Show → Layers).

It works normally, however, if the layer was hidden on the Layers tab.

Also related, adding an actor to a layer that is hidden using the viewport option, will not hide the actor in that viewport. You have to show the layer then hide it again for the change to take effect.

It is now 2016, we’re at 4.12 preview 3, and this bug still persists, just had to go back a couple of revisions because of this.

This post is from before the official launch of the engine. As there have been a significant amount of changes to the editor, it is extremely outdated. Please open a new thread detailing the error you are experiencing, whether it occurs in a clean project with no additional content or is limited to one project, and what steps we can take to reproduce this on our end. I am closing this thread as outdated.
