Hey guys, this request is a rather simple one (not saying implementing it will be however).
I’d like to know if you would consider using other repository options than just Preforce. Right now me and my team are using Assembla, and being able to save/load your work directly from an SVN repository would be wonderful and really help the workflow.
As Alexander said you should already have SVN support. But to double check go to plugins and make sure SVN is enabled: (If it is unchecked then enable it and restart the editor):
Then click on the Disabled Source Control button near “Enter Console Command”:
Now you should be able to choose SVN option:
If you are still seeing Perforce Login then click on Disable Perforce button and click again on Source Control Disabled button near “Enter Console Command”. Hopefully that should bring the repo options.
By the way are you using Rocket Build #1904627?

Thank you for your feedback. There should be a Subversion plug-in enabled by default in Beta5. You can set your source control options to SVN using the Source Control Login in the upper right corner of the editor, next to the “Enter console command” bar. Please let me know if this does not provide the functions you are looking for.
