Blueprint copies with matinee animation

So I followed the making a blueprint door tutorial which worked awesome. Here’s what I’m trying to do, simplified. I have platforms that collapse as soon as you touch them and it works fine with just doing a timeline, but I wish there was more control like using a matinee animation instead. Is there a way to do it or is it even possible at the moment?

I need to be able to have more animated platforms which only seems possible with matinee. This can be extremely useful for the situations where I have to make multiple copies of a mesh. It would eliminate the need to animate them all hand by hand or make copies of their matinees and make a mess organization-wise.

Hi Angelos,

Unfortunately at this time, there is no way to use Matinee+Blueprints in the way that you want. Additional information concerning why can be found in this post:

Hi, how do I get the permissions to view this post? I had an Epic Games forum account before I subscribed to UE4 and joined this area so have 2 accounts… should I be able to login with the UE4 account?

Thanks!
