ERROR : UBT error : Failed to produce item: UE4Editor-OculusRift.dll

Hi,

I’m getting compile error

ERROR : UBT error : Failed to produce item: C:\Development\UnrealEngine\Engine\Plugins\OculusRift\Binaries\Win64\UE4Editor-OculusRift.dll

when trying to compile the latest 4.5 branch (followed the little description in github for 4.5)

Already redownloaded the branch an the deps. But still the same error.

Were you using the 4.5 preview (launcher or source) or the latest preview release from GitHub?

Source from GitHub 4.5 branch

I tried building the editor in the Development Editor solution configuration with Win64 set as the solution platform and did not see the same error. Which solution configuration and solution platform are you building in?

It’s UBT error not compiler error , it means compilation or linking of that dll failed cause of other error which should be also listed in log, try to find it and paste it here, otherwise nobody will know whats wrong, it’s too general

I was getting this error

Error 1 error LNK1181: cannot open input file ‘libovr64.lib’ and this created an error build oculus rift files.
I downloaded the zip version of the engine and put the required files again and I forced to install the emscripten v1.22 (found on EMSCRIPTEN sdk found but of unexpected version, Please install version 1.21.0 - Platform & Builds - Unreal Engine Forums)
and it worked !

But he didn’t said what his error is yet ;p
