Pivot Painter + LOD's

So while ramping up on pivot painter and now exporting my models i am stuck with how do i get my pivot paint models to have lods? Since when you use pivot painter all the geo is separated and the lod system requires you to group all of your objects including the main model being 1 solid object.

I have 2 workarounds that could possibly work:

  1. Manually import each lod into engine (but that would cause a giant folder just for lods exports)
  2. After you separate each geo and pivot paint it; can you then reattach the geo as one object and it will retain the pivot information? then the lod group in max system will work again.

How do i go about setting up LOD’s on pivot painted objects since pivot paint requires assets to be all separated into per geo.
