Unable to set Vector Parameter

Hi.

Not sure what i am missing. But i want to set a vector parameter value using a blueprint.
I created a Material parameter collection. Lets call it PMC in case i have to reference it again.

My material is set to use the PMC for the opacity.
I use another asset to set the Parameter.

However when i do i get SetVectorParameterValue Called on “CollectionName” with invalid ParameterName ‘None’. This is likely due to a blueprint error.

ok you wont believe this. I just recreated the same thing in 4.4.3 and it works.
It seems that in 4.5 preview its not working.

Considering the other bugs reported by me… i am starting to wonder if my 4.5 preview build is not completely broken

Hey Crocopede -

Thank you for your report. I have entered this bug with our Engineers as TTP# 349533. I will keep you informed as we progress toward a solution

Thank You Again -

Thanks for getting this fixed in 4.5.1
Really appreciate it.

Hey, That’s awesome it’s working in 4.5 but I’m also having this issue with ue4.10.4 and I’m using a mac. My shader works perfectly when it’s not active in the level editor viewport and accepts all the values given into the shader but when I hit the run button so walk around the scene it breaks and makes the location of the pawn go to zero. Is there any work around for ue4.10.4 ? (I can only work on ue4.10.4 because that’s the only version where leap motion is stable for macs) Thanks in advance!

Hey Mala_L

Could you provide me with your material set up and some images so I can reproduce this issue on my end?

Thanks,
