Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

HUD code changes are not happening in the editor

When I change the code in my HUD class file the changes are not happening in the editor. I AM saving and recompiling and my HUD class IS set as the default HUD class. The changes I am making are superficial, changing the size of a rectangle that is drawn on the HUD. I change the code, save, and build the project with no issues but the HUD is still appearing as an earlier programmed version.

Hi MelissaR,

I apologize that we did not respond to your question sooner. Is this an issue that you are still experiencing? If so, could you provide some additional information about what version of the Engine you are using and some examples of the code changes you are making?

I think after compiling, you have to run the project from visual studio, or if you choose to launch it from the library (or it's already open), then you have to press the compile (hot reload).
