Bone size and physics asset error

Hi ya’ll. Having some troubles with my mesh here. My mesh is this character which I modelled, rigged and animated in Maya 2014, and later found out doesn’t entirely work in UE4. Here’s my scene with my joint set up:

and ultimately, it throws this error at me:

I have no idea what I did wrong, do I have to redo most of my work or is this recoverable from?

Partially solved this problem, it was due to the model being scaled up at the root, so that the bones were ‘still’ small in the eyes of the engine, even when their radius was increased.
