Blueprint Interface corrupting everything else

Hi.

I would like to bring this to your attention.
If you have a blueprint interface with an output and you decide you do not want the output but instead you want the input.

Upon changing it you then have to go into each blueprint referencing the interface and manually delete the function that is no longer existing.

Its a bit of a productivity killer as one accidental setting can set you back at least 20 minutes having to go recheck every single blueprint using that interface.

Hi Crocopede,

I just tested this in our latest internal build and it is working correctly. The blueprint referencing the interface is automatically updated with the interface is compiled. You should see this in a future update, it could make it in to 4.6.

Thanks,

TJ

Hi.

Just posted on the forums. Adam asked to bring the conversation this side.
I am experiencing the same issue again in 4.7.4 where removing an interface event’s output, and changing it to an input confuses all the BP’s again.

Having to delete all the interface functions manually that was using the interface.

Hi Crocopede,

Thank you for bring this to our attention. I was able to reproduce it in 4.7.4 but also our latest internal build. I have entered it as JIRA UE-13335 and our developers will be investigating the issue further.

Cheers,

TJ

Hello everyone!

Oddly, I’ve encountered this just now in 4.27.2
Was this just never patched?
