[Bug] Level Streaming - Level moving down in Z axis

We have set up a persistent level with 2 content levels streamed into it. We have encountered a strange bug whereby whenever we show or hide the level using the level browser, the whole level seems to move down in the Z axis. Very bizarre behaviour. It is happening on both of our clients so I can only assume it is an editor issue.

EDIT: More details - it appears to ONLY be occuring to one of our content levels, but it happens any time a change is made in the level browser. i.e. if any level is hidden/unhidden, or if a level is locked, the level moves down.

EDIT again & solution: More details - it seems that the issue was occurring because the mesh’s on the streamed level had gravity enabled, and were set to movable. Not sure if this is intended behaviour, but disabling gravity fixed the issue.

  1. Create base level
  2. Create content level 1
  3. Create content level 2
  4. In base level right click and add existing level as streaming level (always loaded)
  5. In the level browser, click on the show/hide “eye-con”
  6. Level moves down each time.

Thanks,

Hello,

Thanks for your report! We were able to reproduce this issue and have logged a defect report to have it fixed–hiding or un-hiding a sub-level shouldn’t cause placed actors to move on their own like that  Hopefully this will be fixed in the next Rocket Beta release!

Cheers!

This is still an issue as of 4/24/22. Level will shift in the Y or X axis when loading up map. And will shift more and more as you select between different levels.
