Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Models and Animation, really confused

I am really confused about Modelling and Animation.

I know I do the modelling outside of unreal but what about animation? I am using blender, would I make the model and then add animation to it in blender? If you know a tutorial that covers moving models from blender to UE4 and animation please send a link!

Thanks for the help

1 answer: sort voted first

Basically you just have to watch a basic blender rigging and animating tutorial e.g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-rhD4PV1Fc (rigging) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYZkwbg2T2s (rigging + animation) :)

  1. create your model

  2. add a rigg

  3. create the anims

  4. import it into the ue4
