Packaging project for Windows fails

I am trying to package my project for Windows 64-bit but the packaging keeps failing. I have tried to package a completely new project, but that fails as well. I’m not too sure what to do at this point aside from re-install Unreal 4 and try again. I have attached a log file of the errors I am getting.link text

I will post my findings when I re-install Unreal 4 later today.

Edit: Sorry I didn’t update my post earlier. I uninstalled Unreal 4.4 and reinstalled it to no avail. The game still wouldn’t build. I downloaded Visual Studio 2013 and that seemed to fix the issue, however.

The same for me in 4.5.0… Automation Tool Buid Failed

Hopefully someone has an idea about what caused this issue or, even better, how to resolve it.

Much people has this problem… I think that a error of version 4.5.0…

Howdy Chimps,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I have just attempted to load up a blank project and have seen no build failed errors when packaging for window (64). Would you be able to included any steps that I may need to add to recreate this issue?

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hey Chimps and Michsaporito,

Have you also been able to reproduce this issue since the release of 4.5.1 release of UE4. If it does, could you include your project log files and your DXdiag? Could you also include you entire Build log file?

Thanks and have a great day!

I haven’t been able to reproduce this result in 4.5.1, although I think that the engine wasn’t at fault originally. I reinstalled Visual Studio 2013 and that seemed to fix the problem.

Glad to hear that the issue has been fixed for you. If you do run across this issue in a future release, please be sure to reopen this issue.

Thanks and have a great day!
