Any mobile game built and deployed with UE4.5.1 crashes on ipod4touch, iphone4

Any of mobile games from marketplace crashes on ipone 4 if I use UE4.5.1. Any of them: Tappy, Ninja, Cards, BlackJack. In same time, if I use UE4.4.3 - everything is fine.

So I’m looking for help in this problem. I’ve turned off postprocess effects, metal support, HDR and double check everything in project settings - no changes.

Also, when I compile via Lounch → All_iOS_On_myPC, there’re some warnings in log which I dont understand, saying:
LogStats:Warning: MetaData mismatch. Did you assign a stat to two groups? New //STATGROUP_Threads//FLauncherTask///Thread_1ce0_0///////STATCAT_Advanced//// old //STATGROUP_Threads//FLauncherTask///Thread_1e24_0///////STATCAT_Advanced////

Howdy MrHappy,

Thank you posting this issue. Would you be able to attach your DXdiag and your project log files to this post? What OS version is your iPhone 4 currently running off of?

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hio! Thanx for reply!

Well , I added one more link to log files you asked, and iOS version is 6.1.6 which is last actual version as says itunes. Also device is actually ipod touch4, not iphone4, they’re same in hardware etc., but who knows maybe that’s important now.

For testing on device I use mostly wildcard provisioning profile, explicit provision works too but …just dont use it for now.

Also, one thing that looks strange is that in UE4.5.1 after deploying any “marketplace game” to device - application has no Its own independent icon but replaces previous “custom project game” with common “U” icon. While in UE4.4.3 every “marketplace game” has own icon and registers independently as a new application.

Howdy MrHappy,

I have just reached out to fellow developers and have been informed that we no longer support the 4th Generation iPod devices. You can see here: A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Unreal Engine Forums , that the device that you have listed is not on our list of supported devices.

Thanks!
