  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Will Unreal Engine 4 Have Support for Nintendo 3DS or Wii U?

Hello, I'm impressed with what Epic has to offer with Unreal Engine 4, more than I have been with Unity3D, but I'm not too sure if Unreal Engine 4 supports Wii U or Nintendo 3DS, which are systems I would love to publish on in the future. Any information about this? Thanks!

Much like the terms for xboxone and ps4, you would need to arrange for developer rights to access those specific consoles. Check out the custom licensing page: https://unrealengine.com/custom-licensing

Let's wait for an official response, but some time ago Epic said they were not adapting UE4 for Wii U but that if someone wanted to do it he/she/they would be able to do so, so probably now with source access it could be eventually possible.

I don't know if the 3DS could run a UE4 product, it seems unlikely, but the engine is said to be very scalable (to mobile, etc.).

My response was more in the line of "it's not on the the press release list or FAQ, but if it was something you're serious about please fill out the custom form and let's chat"

Sorry, I didn't notice you were from the staff so yours was actually the official response.
