UMG Font not displaying correctly 4.5.1

Using an imported font in UMG I am seeing strange distortion and cutting off of characters.

Left is UMG, right is Photoshop.

X W and K seems distorted, 5 is cut off at its upper left corner.

Font is Helvetica-Bold. Engine version 4.5.1 from launcher not source.

I have a few quick questions for you to help narrow down the issue that you are experiencing.

  1. Can you reproduce this in a clean project?
  2. Can you provide the steps that you used to add your custom font?
  3. Is this happening with any of the other fonts in your project?

Issue persists in a clean project.

I copied the Helvetica .ttf files into the project/content/slate/fonts folder.
Also tried adding and reading from the 4.5/engine/content/slate/fonts folder.

Seems to only be with the Helvetica-Bold, other fonts in the same family seem to be fine.
Something I did just notice was the issue only seems to appear at sizes below ~35. ~35 and up the font seems to look correct

I was unable to reproduce this on my end.

  1. Have you tried this with any other bold fonts?
  2. Have any other fonts (bold or not bold) given you the same result?
