Should I avoid UMG in mobile?

Hi,

I want to reduce the APK size to the minimum possible. I know I can deactivate Slate for reducing ~30MB. But If I deactivate Slate then I will not be able to use UMG, right?

Is there any way to use UMG without paying the 30MB budget for Slate?

I hope there is a work around. Following this.

Hi Dredok,

We’re closing out some older issues for tracking purposes but to date, Slate is still required to run UMG so there is not a way to take advantage of the 30mb saved by deactivating it.
