No minidump found for this crash

I’m getting this whenever I try to load one of my levels within my project file, I am using level streaming but I don’t know why this is happening. This is the error that I keep getting.

No minidump found for this crash.

Why does this keep popping up? How should I go about fixing this?

Hi Huskey3737,

Could you also post your LOG and DMP files from the crash. The link below has directions on where to find them.

I don’t know which files you specifically need so here is the entire Log Folder

Nothing in the Log folder is older than 10/22. I’m wonder if it isn’t generating a crash log. What were you doing before it started crashing? Did you add any new blueprints or other assets?

The only thing that I was doing was adding in .fbxs to create a blockout and terra-forming some land created in world machine

Without any LOG or DMP files from the crash it is difficult to pin down what the cause could be.

If one of the .fbx’s became corrupted you maybe able to fix it by just removing it. Before you do this, I suggest creating a clone of your project through the Launcher. This is also good to do in your normal workflow to have multiple iterations of you project for backup.

  • Go into the :\Users\YourName\Documents\Unreal Projects\YourProject\Content.
  • Remove any recently placed assets in that level. (Don’t delete them, just move the .uasset to another folder outside of the project.)
  • Try opening the project > level.
  • If it doesn’t work, try remove every asset that you know is contained withing the corrupted level.
  • Try opening the project again.

If that still doesn’t work, then it is possible that the landscape you were working with became corrupted. In that case, you can’t delete it without opening the level so you would need to delete and recreate the level.
