How do you destroy sprite component

Hey guys, how do you do destroy a sprite component on mouse click. Ive been trying to use destroy actor but that doesnt work. Any ideas ?

still struggling to delete the spite on left clicked or touch. when ever the blueprint script complies fine, it deletes my sprite background and not the fish
