Requesting Tutorial for Blender->UE4 Cloth

I found this on the Wiki. A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Unreal Engine Forums

It is really helpful and got me thinking…The only issue I have had with UE4 is cloth. I spent a week trying to get the cloth on my character working right. I finally gave up and I am hoping that in the future there will be a better system and/or tutorial. Anyways I am just throwing the idea out there if someone has got this working…without maya or 3ds max :)…If you could please write a tutorial on the Wiki I’m sure It will help a lot of people.

And to clarify I seen GeoDav’s tutorial on youtube with the cloth flag and that helped alot…But I am talking about Character clothing…

Thanks for your time.

If you look at the cloth level that comes with the Content Examples package, it seems that cloth is handled by Apex physics meaning you need an Nvidia card and their toolset to get cloth simulations working in UE4.

Sadly plugins are only available for 3ds max and Maya

Follow the same workflow as GeoDav’s flag tutorial for the character. Export the entire skinned character from Blender and open it in the Clothing tool and set it up like the flag.
