How do i recover from UMG blueprint error?

Hello, one of the most frustrating things about UMG is that it crashes a lot and sometimes it gets to an inconsistent state where i can’t start the editor because of some invalid pin or method in the UMG blueprint, so i’m forced to revert to my last backup from git. I’ve wasted countless hours redoing stuff because of this. Is there a way to repair a UMG blueprint and not lose my progress?
