FBX import pipeline - How to import levels from max/maya
Hi , this problem has bother me for a long time and one big reason we have went for Unity - for visualisation projects. Our "level" are always prepared in external packages like max/maya, in other words, not only staic mesh assets, but entire level/scene are assembled outside.
So now the problem we always facing - how do we import the level (which will be imported in parts for workflow reasons ) and put the parts back together exactly as they should, instead of placing them again manually.
I must have missed something here, thanks for the help.

group them (don't merge them) and them import them in fbx
