Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hi there,

The specs you mentioned above should work fairly well with UE4, here are the minimum required specs shown in the FAQ:

Desktop PC or Mac Windows 7 64-bit or Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, 2.5 GHz or faster NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX or AMD Radeon 6870 HD series card or higher 8 GB RAM

So you shouldn't have any problems running the editor. You may want to upgrade your video card at a later date to get a higher FPS, but what you have now should work quite well.

Hope that helps! :)

I'm using it quite happily on a 5 year old system with 4GB Ram (DDR2) and ATI HD4650 2GB (both memory and GFX well below UE specs), so you shouldn't have any real problems at all IMO! I even get pretty decent framerate and things like the new dynamic shadows work just fine (actually much better than waiting for light rebuilds of static shadows!)
