Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Top Down, 2D???

So I've been playing with the editor for months now and am trying to construct a 3rd person, top down, 2D game and I have tried everything I can think of (the closest I've came is use the 2D side scroller preset and modifying it but it only moves along one axis) so im seeking help here as there are no youtube videos for this kind of thing. I've looked at other types or variations of games and tried modifying them but nothing works. if anyone has an answer or knows anything that could prove helpful please reply, any help is appreciated.

Have you tried using a 3D 3rd person project and adjusting the camera to be orthographic / top down?

I tried that but when I came to adding a 2D element it for some reason locks it on a vertical plane and is completely unchangeable
