Packaging extremely slow

I’m building a very small game to test out Paper2D. So far its a bunch of small sprites, minor game logic and no fancy graphics or anything.

When I go to package the game it runs indefinitely (as far as I can tell, at least 10+ min). It seems go get stuck on:

MainFrameActions: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): UE4Editor-Cmd: [2014.11.10-23.37.03:644][ 0]LogAssetRegistry: ScanPathsSynchronous completed scanning '/Engine/' and 4 other paths to find 1185 assets in 0.4873 seconds

While I’m currently at a not-too-powerful laptop, I still think I should be able to package a game that I’m well able to play without any issues from within the editor.

Am I missing some setting? I have tried disabling all the fancy graphic stuff, but I’m quite new to Unreal Engine so I might not have configured it correctly.

I didn’t find much of value in the official documentation for this, but perhaps I’m not sure here to look?
