Hi there, I’m really interested in buying the Unreal Engine 4 software but I don’t think my GPU meets the minimum requirements. I have a core I7 2600 and 8GB of ram on Windows 8.1 but my Graphics card is a GTX 550 Ti which is slightly weaker than the GTX 470 recommended card. Do you think my card would be able to handle it? I’m not sure if its worth the risk of it not running. Thanks in advance!
I’m running UE4 on GTX 470 without any major performance issues. The infiltrator demo was able to run at 20-30 fps(with minor hiccups from time to time), so I guess you could give it a try.
Also, keep the graphics card drivers updated. In many cases it has a major impact.
I had one, before i upgraded, and it worked just fine, you shouldnt have problems, and only the most power hungry demos give problems ( effects demo was at 15 FPS)
