Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Does Live Editor function at all in 4.5?

Hi all,

I know it's an experimental feature, but I've had continuous issues with it even since 4.1. I would really love to get the editor in communication with MIDI in Blueprint. I haven't ever been able to execute the blueprint node without crashing the editor, and I haven't really seen anyone do anything with it in an example. Does anyone have any input about using it? I'm considering just jumping ship and doing it all in C++ with portmidi or something similar, but I'd rather use a plug-in specifically built for this purpose by the dev team.

Many thanks!

I'm in the same situation. It's still broke in 4.6.1. It crashes as soon as I connect a MIDI device.

Glad to hear I'm not alone on this! Does your crash happen when you physically connect the device? My editor seems to crash when the blueprint node itself is executed, though I'm able to attach devices / edit the Live Editor preferences. Would love to hear from the team about this plugin, I'm wondering if it has been abandoned...
