Why is my particle effect turning into snow stars?

Can anyone explain why my particle mesh emitter is doing to my falling leaves. Take note that it works fine for a while then starts going insane like this. Yet none of the leaves I put along the floor to have to do this. Can anyone explain please and thank you.

Hey Marsassassin -

There is a few things we can try to rule out immediately, just to clarify do they always look like this and if so have you changed the emitter output in Cascade to show something other than the emitted sprites? If I am reading you post correctly though you say the leaves are fine until you get to a point and they become the shape above? Is that correct? If so, are you doing any World Position Offset or World Displacement with the materials on your leaf mesh?

It would be helpful to get a breakdown of your module setup for this emitter and the material setup, screenshots would be fine.

Thank You

Hey Eric,

Yeah it sometimes happens if I switch to full-screen but its an easy fix if I restart the emitter however now and then if I keep coming out and back into full-screen it can do this again.
Below is how I have the material and the cascade and the wireframe in UE4.

Hey Marsassassin -

Thank You for the additional information this helped me identify this issue. We are currently aware of the issue where mesh particles will switch to wireframe and not switch back. We are currently testing a solution to this issue, but in the mean time you should be able to build lighting and the particle will return to normal.

I will keep you informed. Thank You

Ah good to know, thanks for the reply.
