Question about audio attenuation.

Hi

I’m having a bit of a problem concerning audio attenuation in unreal 4. I have a fan in my level which i have created a sound for. I have put the audio cue in the viewport where the fan is and defined the attenuation using a separate attenuation UASSET file, and made sure to set attenuation override to off in the details panel of the sound cue.

The problem I have is that when I move the camera away from the source of the audio in the viewport, the sound fades as intended , but when I move my camera back in proximity of the Cue, the sound no longer starts up. The only answer I’ve found on the forums is to ensure that my sound wave is set to looping. I have double clicked on my sound wave and made sure it is looping but I get the same problem.

I am simulating the level by the way and using the camera in the viewport to test.

Oh false alarm. I needed to add a ‘Looping’ node to the actual Sound Cue
